The Equipment Practicum is designed to give you an opportunity to apply what you have learned in the Trauma-Informed BCIA Neurofeedback training course while being supervised by experts from Sadar Psychological. Getting started with neurofeedback equipment can be daunting, and we are here to support you so that you feel comfortable as you continue your training. In order to participate in the Practicum, at a minimum, you must have completed up to at least Section 8: Treatment Protocol in the BCIA course.
Before you can start this course, you must also have equipment. TRF has worked with BEE Medic to secure equipment through a loaner program at no cost to you for 6 weeks during the practicum course. To take advantage of this special loaner program, after you register for the Practicum, please complete this form from BEE Medic.
This Practicum course will meet according to the following schedule:
Session 1 | Monday, August 23rd @ 12:00 – 2:00 pm ET |
Session 2 | Monday, August 30th @ 12:00 – 2:00 pm ET |
Session 3 | Monday, September 20th @ 12:00 – 2:00 pm ET |
During each session you and your cohort will have the opportunity to practice with the equipment and ask questions. At the conclusion of the Practicum, your next step will be to join a mentoring program. You are well on your way to becoming a trauma-informed Neurofeedback treatment provider!
Please note: This practicum requires a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 20 enrollees. In the event of low enrollment, the practicum will be delayed.
