Program Title: The Five Layers of Self-Awareness, Companions on the Journey to Healing

Overview of the Program:

This program will share a contemporary view of self-awareness based on a 3,000-year old wisdom tradition, describing humans as having five layers of being: physical, energetic, psycho-emotional, intuitive wisdom, and bliss. When self-awareness skills are actively employed, we see our reality as it is, not hidden behind a veil of wishful thinking or denial. Then we can consciously choose to make changes, remain unchanged with full awareness of the consequences or find acceptance and peace of mind if change is not possible. Each week will include accessible practices ranging from physical movement to conscious relaxation and meditation.

Beth Gibbs:

Beth Gibbs, MA, is a certified yoga therapist and faculty member at the Kripalu School of Integrative Yoga Therapy. Her classes, workshops and writing focus on the benefits of yoga, meditation and self-awareness to help others (and herself) find clarity, contentment, and resilience in a complicated world.
